Weekly Summary Update

MONDAY 1-19-09: Electrician on site today he installed transformers on top of back bar system for low voltage lighting connection. He also replaced light bulbs on site. Carpet installer on site today he finished installing carpet base in dinning room complete. Millworkers on site today they installed final piece of soffit, cabinet, and back splash for back bar system. They also installed toe kick, drawers, and bottom cabinet for POS station 1. They installed portion of toe kick for wine cabinet C, back splash for POS station 2, filler piece at hostess stand, and replaced ADA flip top at bar. Granite installer on site today he drilled hole in bar counter top per owners request for water machine plumbing.

TUESDAY 1-20-09: Millworkers on site today they temporarily installed lumigraph panels. Alarm co. on site today they finished installing alarm system complete. County building inspector on site today for final building inspection we have passed and have certificate of occupancy.

WEDNESDAY 1-21-09: Millworkers on site they finished installing toe kick on wine cabinet C. They also installed crown molding on POS station 2 and started molding on wine cabinet C. They installed low voltage lighting behind lumigraph and have made connection to transformers to make sure they are working properly. Cleaning crew on site today they cleaned site complete. Painter on site today they stenciled decanter logo on front wall as you walk into entrance. Soda machine installers on site today they started installing equipment for machine.

THURSDAY 1-22-09: Millworkers on site today they finished installing crown molding on wine cabinet C. They installed all doors drawers and pulls for cabinets. They also installed fill pieces underneath back bar countertop that rests on refrigeration units. Installer from Natura water started installing system.

FRIDAY 1-23-09: Millworkers on site today they installed glass for wine cabinet C. They painted another coat behind lumigraph panels and fastened and adjusted lighting and installed aluminum molding for panels. They also adjusted doors and drawers for cabinetry. Glass Co. on site today they started installing glass panels for wine bank and will return next week to finish installation. They have to reorder 5 panels to complete installation, glass supplier sent out wrong panels.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: Millworkers will be on site Monday of next week to complete punch list. Economy restaurant supply will be on site middle of week to install heat lamp in kitchen. Final Health inspection is scheduled for Monday. Electrician will be on site to install receptacle for heat lamp and install monopoint lights in bar. He will also adjust height on pendant lighting above banquet. Glass co. will be on site to finish installing glass for wine bank. We will be finished complete next week.

Weekly Summary Update

MONDAY 1-12-09: Plumbers on site today they delivered and installed replacement parts for faucets in bathrooms. They fired up the water heater and cook line equipment everything is working properly. Patio and dinning room chairs were delivered to site. Wood works co. came out to site and picked up dining room table tops to refinish.

TUESDAY 1-13-09: Electrician on site today he installed door switch for air curtain, installed breaker for dishwasher, installed pendant lights and tested emergency lights. Millworkers on site today they installed counter top, step and shelving for back bar system. They installed ADA flip top at bar and finish panel on hostess stand. Wood works co. on site today they delivered and installed mirrors in bathrooms. Audio installer on site today he ran phone and internet lines into site. Fire security co. and fire sprinkler co. along with fire inspector on site today to test systems. All systems passed including emergency lighting.

WEDNESDAY 1-14-09: Granite co. on site today they drilled whole for light on hostess stand. They glued and clamped corner of granite at bar and caulked granite in bathrooms. Millworkers on site today they installed soffit for back bar and installed lights for lumigraphed areas. Audio installer on site today he started hooking up speakers he also hung television. Alarm co. on site today they installed system. Television co. on site they installed satellite and receiver. Mechanical worker on site he dropped register into wine cabinet C.

THURSDAY 1-15-09: Audio installers on site today they continued to install speakers and trim they also hooked up receiver and audio volume control panel. Painter on site today he touched up and finished paint complete. Granite co. on site today worker caulked back splash in bathrooms. Wood works co. on site today workers delivered and assembled table tops in dinning room along with trim and filler piece for booths. Glass installers on site today they laid out wine bank and cut and placed u channel for proper measurement of glass dimensions.

FRIDAY 1-16-09: Contractor on site finishing work to complete punch list. V-fire on set today worker prepped ansul system for test. Fire inspector on site today to test ansul system and system has passed and final fire inspection is complete.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: Millworkers will install the rest of cabinets complete. Electrician will finish wiring lighting for back bar system and he will be done complete. Designer will the rest of his finish delivered and installed. Glass wine bank glass should be delivered and installed complete by end of week. Final building inspection is scheduled for Tuesday. Final health inspection is scheduled for Thursday. We should be complete with all of construction by end of week.

MONDAY 1-5-09: Carpet installers on site they started laying carpet tile in dinning room they did not have proper transfer to tile they will be back tomorrow to finish. Anchor specialties on site today they finished installing replacement partitions in the bathrooms complete. Millworkers on site today they installed base for wine cabinet. Mechanical workers on site he installed registers on hard duct in front of site above bar he also landed wire for power disconnect for duct detectors and turned on units and adjusted thermostat to make sure they were working properly. Plumbers on site today they continued to install finish in bar, bathrooms and kitchen. Painter on site today he finished painting site complete. Mac faucets will ship out defective parts for faucets that plumber encountered when he installed. County inspector on site today to inspect 3m wrap on grease fan duct he also gave us gas release.

TUESDAY 1-6-09: Plumbers on site today they continued finish plumbing in kitchen, bathrooms, and bar and are complete they will return when new parts for faucets are delivered. Carpet installer finished laying carpet in dinning room he will have to return to finish carpet base he ran out of material. Contractors finished installing trim under bar countertop. Bases for tables were delivered today. Still waiting for SDGE to give us date for installing gas meter.

WEDNESDAY 1-7-09: Granite co. on site today they installed countertop for hostess stand. Restaurant equipment supply co. on site today they installed flashing behind bar equipment so they could set equipment to the wall and is complete. They also leveled refrigeration units in bar as well.

THURSDAY 1-8-09: Ansul installer on site today they finished drops for ansul system complete. Vendor for designer on site today they installed booths in dinning room and banquet on bar side of wine cabinet C. Fire inspection has been scheduled for Tuesday of next week. SDGE will be on site tomorrow to install gas meter for site.

FRIDAY 1-9-09: Electrician on site today he hard wired dishwasher complete wired up pig tail for glass washer in bar installed cover plates for lights and boxes changed out receptacle in kitchen for refrigerator. Millworker on site today he installed corbels and sub top for back bar system.

SATURDAY 1-10-09: Electricians on site today they installed contactors for air for hood labeled panels hooked up dimmer switch panels and checked electrical system complete to make sure system is fully operational. Millworkers on site they delivered the rest of wine cabinet c and installed it. They also delivered most of back bar cabinets.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: We will finish final punch list complete. Fire security co. will be out on Monday along with HVAC co. to do pre test of fire life safety system along with ansul system. Mechanical workers will also install register in wine cabinet C. We will have final fire inspection the next day. We will also have back bar system installed and electrician will finish wiring lighting for bar cabinets. We will have building final following fire and health final following that. We should have all finals next week and be ready to open doors for business. We will start construction of glass wine bank next week as well.

MONDAY 12-29-08: Worker from V-FIRE on site today he installed wall mount manual pull for ansul system. He also started installing drops under hood for cook line equipment but will have to stop progress due to the change of cook line from original equipment plan by owner. V-fire will have to submit change order for work and be approved by owner before they can move forward. Mechanical worker on site today he adjusted slats on linear diffusers and installed register on face wall in front of site he also cut hole in ceiling and pulled duct through for air into wine cabinet. Nova security co. on site today they wired duct detectors together and wired up ansul system complete. Electrician on site today he turned on power and installed fixtures and finish trim. Painter on site today he continued painting doors and windows in front of site. Millworkers delivered P.O.S stations 1 and 2.

TUESDAY 12-30-08: Painter on site today he started painting doors and windows in kitchen he also painted windows outside in back of suite along with duct on roof for water heater. Millworkers on site today they installed both P.O.S stations.

WEDNESDAY 12-31-08: Painter on site today he prepped walls windows and doors for final coat. Millworkers on site today they installed wood trim along base of hostess stand and also applied cement board to face of stand and is ready for tile. Anchor construction co. on site today they installed replacement partition in women’s bathroom but there replacement partition is scratched and will have to be fixed. They could not install partition in men’s bathroom because they brought out wrong size they will come back out to site on Monday to finish.

THURSDAY 1-1-09: Painter on site today he sprayed final coat on doors and windows in front of house and is finished complete.

FRIDAY 1-2-09: Painter on site today he started to paint finish coats in dinning room and bar and prepped rest of site in front of house for finish coats. Economy restaurant supply on site today worker set dishwasher and tables in kitchen he also installed fan above back door. Plumber on site today they continued installing finish in kitchen and started installing plumbing for bathroom sinks. Tile worker on site today he finished setting and grouting tile in bathrooms and grouting base tile in dinning room and bar area.

SATURDAY 1-3-09: Painter on site he continued to paint final coats in front of site. Plumbers on site today they continued to install finish in kitchen bathrooms and bar. Tile worker on site today he installed tile on face of hostess stand he also finished laying base tile and grouting site. Contractors on site we installed foot rest for bar and trim under countertop. We also installed stairs for dry storage access.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: We will finish painting site complete. We will also finish all plumbing on site. We will also finish all electrical installation. Partitions in bathrooms and accessories will be installed complete. We will install hardware for all doors. Mechanical will finish all final installation and trouble shoot system. V-FIRE will be on site to finish ansul system complete. Granite installers will be on site to install countertop for hostess stand. Millworkers will be on site to finish installation of hostess stand both pos stations along with wine cabinet and back bar cabinets and ADA counter for bar. We will start to call for final inspection on all trades along with health inspection. We will also walk with owner for final punch list to be completed. Designer will start to have banquet tables chairs and all other décor to be supplied.

MONDAY 12-8-08: Painters on site today they finished painting first coat on all walls. Electrician on site today he installed 2x4 lights in kitchen and started finish trim in kitchen as well. I went to county office today to get revised electrical plans and bar soffit detail approved and was.

TUESDAY 12 -9-08: Painters on site today they continued to paint site. Electrician on site he continued to install finish trim in kitchen.

WEDNESDAY 12-10-08: Painters on site today they went sanded and patched walls through site to fix problem areas. They also prime coated back door and window in kitchen as well as two doors in water heater room. Fire protection co. on site today they installs trim for sprinklers and did walk through with inspector along with myself for above ceiling inspection in kitchen and has passed us.

THURSDAY 12-11-08: Electricians on site they continued to install finish trim on site and are 50 % done. They also finished wiring up panel complete and J boxes in cubby above. Tile workers on site today they finished grouting behind bar and started laying tile in entrance of site. HVAC co. on site today they installed louver in window above kitchen and started installing duct.

FRIDAY 12-12-08: Tile co. on site today they continued to install tile in bar dinning and bathroom areas. Mechanical workers on site today to take measurements for finishing duct work for grease fan.

SATURDAY 12-13-08: Tile co. on site today they continued to install tile in dinning room and bathrooms and are 90% done with tile and grouting on site.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: We will have granite counter tops installed in bar and bathrooms. Plumbers will install finish in bar and bathrooms and kitchen. Workers will install wallcovering bar wall and bathrooms. Workers will install partitions in bathrooms along with bathroom accessories. MONDAY 12-1-08: Tile co. on site today they finished grouting tile in kitchen and also laid tile in bar area complete. Painter on site today he prepped site for primer.

TUESDAY 12-2-08: Painter on site today they sprayed primer on all paint surfaces complete. Kitchen equipment supplier on site today workers installed stainless steel sheets behind hoods in kitchen. Fire sprinkler co. on site today worker dropped sprinkler heads in kitchen and are complete and will schedule fire inspection as soon as possible.

WEDNESDAY 12-3-08: Drywaller on site today to hang piece of drywall and walk site to visually confirm area that need to be fixed before we can paint site with color. Mill worker on site today he installed Sub –Top for bar counter.

THURSDAY 12-4-08: Drywaller on site today he mudded problem areas on site. Mill worker on site today he installed sub-tops in bathrooms. Plumber on site today he turned on water to fill up water heater and to recheck for any leaks.

FRIDAY 12-5-08: Drywallers on site today they continued to mud problem areas. Granite installer on site today he measured sub-tops in bar and kitchen and made templates for them.

SATURDAY 12 -6-08: Drywaller on site today to give a finish sand and sponge of walls on site. Painter on site to finish sanding overspray and apply primer on site.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: Electrician will be on site next week to drop in 2x4 lights in kitchen and wire up panel complete. TUESDAY 11-25-08: Tile installers on site today they started laying tile on bathroom walls and will be on site tomorrow to continue.

WEDNESDAY 11-26-08: Tile installers on site today they continued to lay tile on bathroom walls and prepped kitchen and bar for tile.

FRIDAY 11-28-08: Tile installers on site today they grouted bathrooms and laid tile in kitchen.

MONDAY 11-17-08: Electrician on site today he pulled whip for wine display in entrance of site out of wall and set in to box in dry storage for future use. He also wired two monopoint lights entrance of site and ran conduit overhead. Drywallers on site today they continued to mud walls. Plumbers on site today they installed water heater. FRP co. on site today worker continued to install FRP in kitchen and will be on site tomorrow to finish complete.

TUESDAY 11-18-08: Drywallers on site today they continued to mud walls. Electrician on site today he ran whip in light cove around barrel ceiling in to box he also started wiring up panel. Plumbers on site today they hooked up water heater and ran vent pipe. FRP co. on site today they finished installing FRP complete.

Wednesday 11-19-08: Electrician on site today he ran conduit to roof for connection to make up air unit. He also ran connection from ansul switch to hood and continued to wire panel. Drywallers on site today they continued to mud walls. Mechanical workers on site today they installed old grease fan for point of reference for duct from hood. They also reset make up air unit after roofers patch penetrations. Roofing co. on site they patched all penetrations. Nova Security on site today they relocated fire alarm boxes to wall next to front entrance.

THURSDAY 11-20-08: Drywallers on site today they continued to mud and sand walls. Electrician on site today he ran wire to grease fan location and into box for later connection he also ran power to inline fan for dishwasher hood. Mechanical worker on site today he ran thermostat wire to box and is ready for hookup. He also started installing duct from hood to grease fan. Health inspector was on site today to do mid inspection.

FRIDAY 11-21-08: Drywallers on site today they continued to mud and sand walls. Mechanical worker on site today he installed skirt on one side of hood he also laid out and measured for duct for grease fan. Plumber on site today he rerouted vent pipe in kitchen so mechanical can run their grease fan duct. Audio installers on site today they ran wire to barrel ceiling speaker locations they also ran wire to down wall in kitchen for later outside connection.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: Drywallers will finish mudding and sanding walls. Tile installers will be out on Tuesday to start in bathrooms. We will call for above ceiling inspection after mechanical run grease duct and drop in diffusers in kitchen and after electrician installs lighting. Painter will be out next week to paint open ceiling and prime coat rest of site. Fire sprinkler co. will be on site to drop sprinklers in kitchen.

MONDAY 11-10-08: Contractor on site today I installed plywood on framing for water heater and mop sink. Inspector on site today for screw inspection and has passed us. He also requested that architect engineer drawing for hanging soffit per build. Architect has been notified and has complied.

TUESDAY 11-11-08: Electricians on site today they installed receptacles in bar for audio installers per owners request and moved data and power boxes to new location. They also installed two emergency lights in site. Painter on site today to walk project.

WEDNESDAY 11-12-08: Drywallers on site today they hung the rest of drywall complete and started to tape and mud kitchen, bathrooms, and part of dinning room. Mechanical workers on site today they installed make up air unit on roof and installed skirt on top edge of hood. Electricians on site today they installed outlet in water heater room per owners request and started to install boxes in front of site for monopoint lights.

THURSDAY 11-13-08: Drywallers on site today they continued to tape and are 90% complete with taping. Electricians on site today they finished installing boxes for monopoint lights and have started to wire them. Designer and millworker on site today to walk with project manager and myself to clarify any issues and concerns on project.

FRIDAY 11-14-08: Drywallers on site today they continued to tape and mud walls. FRP installer on site today he started installing in kitchen and is about 25% complete. Electricians on site today they continued to wire up monopoint lights and are complete to j box in cubby above.

MONDAY 11-3-08: Contractor on site today installed plywood deck above bathroom. No other contractors on site today. Framers will be on site starting Wednesday.

TUESDAY 11-4-08: Contractor on site today installed fur strips on front wall also installed ADA backing in bar and screwed off all backing in kitchen. Drywall hangers will be on site tomorrow to continue installing. Plumbers will be on site tomorrow as well. Audio installers will be on site tomorrow.

WEDNESDAY 11-5-08: Audio installers on site today they walked site with owner to finalize scope of work and began to pull data wire, telephone wire, and audio wire through site. Drywall hangers on site today they finished hanging drywall in dinning room and worked their way to front of site. Plumber on site today he made water pipe penetration through roof for swamp cooler and ran pipe to location. He also adjusted all floor drains on site to proper height. Inspector on site today to give screw inspection in kitchen and passed us.

THURSDAY 11-6-08: Drywallers on site today they continued hanging drywall in front of house and are 95% done and will hold off on the rest of board until audio installers run the rest of their wire and electrician installs receptacles for audio installers per owners request. Mechanical workers on site today they installed both hoods in kitchen.

FRIDAY 11-7-08: Drywallers on site today they hung drywall on face of hanging soffit in bar and face of soffit in dinning room and installed corner bead through site. Audio installers on site today they continued to pre wire site for future installation.

Weekly summary update

MONDAY 10-6-08: Framers on site today they started framing wine bank soffit. Plumbers on site today they started installing floor drains and trap primers through site they also ran water through trench and stubbed up into bar wall. They removed rock from site as well. Electrician ran home runs into panel and set boxes in dinning room for pendant lights.

TUESDAY 10-7-08: Framers on site today they framed wine bank soffit and started framing lid around soffit. Plumbers continued installing floor drains and trap primers. Electricians laid out lighting in dinning room and installed light fixtures in dry storage area. Mechanical workers made poc from their duct to existing AC duct they also laid out penetration for duct into cubby above kitchen. Concrete workers on site today they drilled holes for rebar in trenches and have epoxied bar. They have tied 50% of rebar and will be back on site tomorrow to finish before inspection.

Wednesday 10-8-08: Framers continued frame hard lid in dinning room and around wine bank. Mechanical workers finished connecting duct to exhaust fans in bathrooms. They also cut penetration hole in kitchen for exhaust duct running up into cubby above. They also dropped in diffusers in dinning area and ran return air. Concrete co. is on site today to finish tying the rebar for concrete patch. Plumbers on site today to finish setting floor drains. Electrician tied main connections into j box.

THURSDAY 10-9-08: Concrete workers on sit today they poured concrete back into plumbing trenches. Plumbers on site today they installed mop sink and hooked up water main to site plumbing. Electrician on site today he ran conduit from data boxes to dry storage area.

FRIDAY 10-10-08: Framers on site today they finished framing lid in dinning room and around wine bank they also tied in soffit and barrel ceiling into lid. HVAC Company on site today they cut out and dropped in plenum for swap cooler on roof. They also installed inline exhaust fan in kitchen for hood and is ready for connection.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: We will finish framing by early next week and call for inspection for rough framing, rough electrical, and rough plumbing. We will then start installing light fixtures, dropping in fire sprinklers, and hanging drywall behind. Plumbers will be on site to install water heater and penetrate roof for venting duct and running water pipe into bar wall. HVAC Company will be on site next week as well to install swamp cooler on roof and hopefully install grease fan in kitchen and finish duct work for it.

MONDAY 9-29-08: Framers on site today they finished framing soffits in dinning room and well wait to finish rest of framing until we get plumbing trenches closed. Mechanical workers on site today they installed exhaust fans I bathrooms and penetrated back wall for exhaust duct and is complete. They also made cut out in existing AC duct for connection but well wait to make point of connection until water condensing pipe from AC unit is relocated. They dropped in diffusers in dinning room as well. Electrician laid out lighting and ran more feeds into electrical panel.

TUESDAY 9-30-08: Electricians ran pipe and wire into wall at front of site where bar will be and also set boxes in place. Installer from MR.TINT came out to site today and applied white frost window tint to windows at front of building. I talked to water district today and will pick up signed approval form tomorrow morning at 8:00.I will also go to county tomorrow to pay and receive permits. Tomorrow at 10:00 electrician and I have a meeting with designer to figure out electrical circuitry for site and also get approval for emergency lighting.

WEDNESDAY 10-1-08: Electricians on site today they ran wire down front wall to boxes and are tied in. Had meeting with designer this morning and figured out electrical circuitry and emergency lighting and dimmer location. Went to county office today and pulled permits. Called for inspection tomorrow for underground plumbing and gas. Plumbers will be on site in morning to run test on plumbing to be ready for inspector.

THURSDAY 10-2-08: Electrician on site today he ran flex from pos station over ceiling to deck above bathroom for connection he also laid out emergency lighting. Plumbers are on site today they cleared trenches and got plumbing and gas lines up to test for inspection. Inspector came out to site today to give inspection for underground plumbing and gas and has passed us. Plumbers will be on site tomorrow to start backfilling trench.

FRIDAY 10-3-08: Electrician on site today he installed boxes and ran wire for emergency lighting. Plumbers on site today they started backfilling trenches. Installer from MR.TINT came out to site today to push all air pockets out of tint.

SATURDAY 10-4-08: Plumbers on site today they finished backfilling trenches and have started installing floor drains.

PROPOSED WORK FOR NEXT WEEK: Plumbers will continue installing floor drains and traps and run water supply through trench to bar. Concrete co. will be on site Tuesday to drill and epoxy per concrete patch detail for plumbing trenches. Framers will be on site Monday or Tuesday to finish rough framing. Electricians will be on site Monday to finish rough and should get fixtures delivered by middle of next week for installation. I will call for inspection for Wednesday to get rough plumbing and concrete patch detail passed we will also try to get rough framing and electrical passed at the same time.Thurday I will schedule for concrete to be poured back in trenches. Mechanical workers will be out next week to finish dropping in diffusers on site and install swamp cooler on roof. We should have site completely roughed in by end of week.

Monday 8-25-08: There are 2 plumbers on site doing the underground layout for the saw cut company that will be out at the end of the week to saw cut and remove so the plumbers can start with the underground excavation at the beginning of next week. We are working on site with out a permit and will be unable to receive any inspections until we receive it. We expect to receive the permit no later than Tuesday of next week.

Tuesday 8-26-08: There are 2 plumbers on site working on connecting to the vents and determine what materials are needed to run the gas line from the end suite to our suite. They will be performing this work tomorrow and complete the work no later than Thursday.

Wednesday 8-27-08: NO BODY ON SITE TODAY. We are waiting to meet the property manager tomorrow to receive the key for the corner suite and the dog house above so we can run the gas line and also do the necessary work in the upper dog house with the traded involved with the project.

Thursday 8-28-08: Demoed out both existing bathrooms walls and flooring and stacked all debris in the corner to throw away in the dumpster that will be arriving tomorrow. The plumber was on site later in the day to complete the gas line connection in the end suite to find out the existing gas line threads are cross threaded and need to be fixed to make the point of connection. I got a hold of Brad my Project Manager and informed him of the problem and he got in touch with the property management which gave him the phone number of La Rue Plumbing the plumber that did the work on the site development to come out and fix there broken gas pipe. They got scheduled to be out Friday afternoon to fix there piping so my plumber can finish his work.

Friday 8-29-08: The saw cutter arrived at 7am to saw cut and remove the concrete so the plumber can install his underground plumbing pipes. It took him all day and while they where removing the concrete spoils they realized that they saw cut through 3 electrical pipes that where either run through the slab or right below the slab. We checked to make sure there was nothing in the pipes and took pictures of the damaged pipes and proceeded forward with our work. The 40 yard dumpster and Porto potty was also delivered today to site and I cleaned up all the demoed debris and through it into the dumpster. La Rue plumbing came out and fixed the gas pipe in the corner suite and the saw cutter will have to return tomorrow to do some minor jack hammering do to excessive footings at the demising wall and exterior walls.

Saturday 8-30-08: The saw cutter was on site today and jack hammered out the footings around the project and finished up on site early morning. Site was cleaned and we will be back on Tuesday to continue moving forward.
